Etihad Airways

Avilinga was approached by Etihad Airways in 2007 to help solve a problem with the implementation of an existing website translation into German, French and Dutch.

Like many of our clients, Etihad Airways had done a basic translation in-house before realizing the need for a professional translation services provider to solve problems including technical upload, identification and re-synchronization of superseded translations and provision of ongoing maintenance.

Avilinga not only successfully implemented these initial sites to schedule but has subsequently gone on to launch new sites for Etihad in Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Thai.

Avilinga has also developed and implemented tailor made solutions to fit Etihad's exact maintenance requirements. These include a full implementation of the Language Direct Babilu™ system, for which Etihad Airways was the launch customer.

Avilinga currently provides Etihad with a fully integrated, 24 hour maintenance service into the 8 current site languages, and a new language turnaround service of 4-6 weeks for new sites.

Gulf Air

In 2011 Avilinga won the public tender bid to become the sole language services provider for Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the largest network operator in the Middle East. Gulf Air currently flies to over 40 international destinations.

Items to be covered range from Marketing to Corporate Communications to Specialty areas such as Culinary.

Limited Babilu integration is included in the initial service agreement.
